Sablepoot Bantams originated in the Netherlands. Although not as robust as a Silkie or a Pekin hen when being handled, they are sturdy and a fairly hardy little bird. They are inquisitive and fun but can be a little shy of big groups or people they do not know. They will lay you up to 180 little white eggs a year.
